We must all unite under the Kiwi King.

Surn responds:

For great justice!

It's near impossible to move fast enough to dodge the oncoming walls. I've been trying at it for about 10 minutes and still can't get it. I find it silly that you cannot even complete the first simple task. I suggest making the player move faster or giving more space to turn, and not making it impossible.

svaerth responds:

I admit that it isn't as obvious as it should be, but you can move through the blocks the instant they touch the bottom, so its gives you precisely as much time as you need, making it impossible if you try to tap it at the last moment. It was my intention for the players to hold the arrow keys in the direction that they need to go before the surrounding blocks disapear, which would make your block move as soon as it can without the player having to time it. This wasn't very obvious tho, so I apologize

I like the idea of putting something onto Newgrounds for testing, but not when you have so many bugs. The design is different which I find a plus, but way to many bugs. Jut take this as a learning experience :D
Also, the best part of the entire thing is when the Ghosts hit pellets and suddenly go spiralling around with their no purpose lives.

LILCAPADRE023 responds:

yes this is a learning experience and i probley won't do it again.

Cool theme. Interesting levels. Great game. The music really carries the tone of the game. And I am going to say that this game was definitely inspired by Meat Boy/Super Meat Boy. It has the same mechanics, and it's insanely difficult very quickly. I love it.

qzix13 responds:

Thanks for great comment.

You guessed. I am truly was inspired by Super Meat Boy :)

It has great potential, but the controls are just painful. Green's dynamics were so unpredictable. He would jump at such an awkward speed that just left me annoyed because I would die within 20 seconds everytime. And I would start a new game, not hit anything, but lose hearts and die. It was a quite annoying bug. Overall, the soundtrack was cool, the graphics were stellar, but I was not addicted to the gameplay, despite the description.

EvilLemon responds:

I guess you were losing lives because you were walking on the spikes. Avoid the spikes.
Also to jump faster, hold shift and up. You'll jump higher if you hold the up key.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I'll keep it in mind while developing the next action game :)

I feel as if the artist and musician got cheated on this. Was the game even tested( I know I know; 36 hours is quick but still)? It's fantastic minus all the bugs. Fix them and you get one hell of a great game.

Troisnyx responds:

I am the musician for this project, and let me tell you one thing: I find it insulting that you would think I had been cheated. I SOUGHT OUT Squidly, who was the person behind Second Wind. And Hyptosis came to our group, when we were least expecting an artist. I wasn't even expecting to have a full dev team, in fact, it would only have been Squidly and myself.

We acknowledge that there are bugs, we tested them multiple times. Still had a deadline to meet. I'm grateful that you were merciful to us when you said 'It's fantastic minus all the bugs', you were spot on.

Simple, fun, and entertaining.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks!

I dabble in artistic things occasionally.
